The first International school opened in the Toulouse area. The International School of Toulouse created by British Aerospace is an English school with primary and secondary students, this was the first school in the Northan Hemisphere where the students used laptops.

I remeber I was walking down the corridor, my parents and I we were talking to the president of the school (Mrs. Jackson) I wasn't shy at all that day I was rather confident. But the thing that I loved that day was that there was a camera man filming for the national French channel "T.L.T." I was dancing and doing all sorts of crazy things. I kept asking (in French of course!) "is this going to go on televison" and the camera man replied "maybe some bits might be"
