2001- Terorist attack in NY World trade Towers

On September 11^th, terrorists crashed two hi-jacked passenger airliners into the NY World Trade Towers causing the death of about 3000 people.

It was a terrible thing! I remember returning home from school and my grandma telling me the terrible news. We followed the disaster every day on TV.

Two days later in Year 1 at school, we went into the library and sat quietly for one minute to remember what had happened and then discussed our feelings about it.
