2005-Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast in USA

Hurricane Kantrina, one of the deadliest hurricanes in the US history, devastated the Gulf Coast in late August killing at least 1,836 people and causing more than $80 billion in damages.

I was in France when the Hurricane Katrina took place, and it was really sad watching all these people loosing their homes. I was very shocked realizing the power of the natural phenomena!
