Diver's Quest
Anna and Danielle
We learned a lot
about the shipwrecks around the British Isles. There is a lot good
and valuable information available before you start the game.
However, we cannot find out a lot about which techniques are used
in general in marine archaeology.
It only gives us information on marine archaeology around the
British Isles, and not anywhere else around the world. |

Bad
Points
|
The
graphics are nice
|
It
does not change the questions or shuffle the order of the
questions
|
The
questions are interesting and tricky
|
It
lets you cheat
|
If
you are looking for something quite simple, it is good
|
Because
you can cheat, it takes off a lot of the challenge
|
The
layout is very nice and the drawings are quite humorous
|
It
does not time you during the activity
|
The
instructions are easy
|
It
does not tell us the date or who discovered which marine
artefact.
|
|
Not
much interactivity: you just answer questions
|
|
Conclusion:
This
game is quite good, and fun to do. However, it should be made more
challenging.

It
was not too easy and not too hard we got 10 out of 10 on the 3rd
try. The instructions were clear and simple, so young people can
easily understand it. It is good because they way they performed
it made us absolutely want to have a go! We learned lots of stuff
like how ‘the bends’ is another term for decompression
sickness, and that ‘The Swan’ is a Cromwellian shipwreck that
was found off the west coast of Scotland. The disadvantage was
that it was a 50/50 chance and when you win you don’t get
anything. This game was not very interactive, as all you can do is
answer the questions given.
