The Legacy of the French Revolutionary

The French revolution started in 1789 and ended in 1794.

The metric system was made During the French revolution

Millions of Europeans became liberals.

In 1830 Revolutions broke out in six countries.

In the Netherlands the Belgians rose in revolt against the Dutch King William. Netherlands was taken over in 1815 by the Dutch. This made many people very angry and very cross with the Dutch so the started to complain.

Nationalism

- France was not a Kingdom it was a Nation.

- Republic not a monarchy.

- France wasn’t owned by anyone.
