Worship
In Tolosa there were several Gods worshiped by all classes. Temples representing Jupiter, Juno and Minerva would have all been present, often located near the forum.
Each temple again depended on the city, designer and builders present. Their seemed no specific type of temple to represent each God.
"La Daurade" (present-day Place Daurade) was an example of a Roman temple consecrated to all Gods.
There was also found near the ancient cathedral, the base of a statue with a big foot still intact.
It was believed that this place was a former area of religious importance although what or who the statue represented is unknown.
Like specific walls for cities, temples, Gods and local Deities were unique to each city. Parallels can be drawn between temples found in Rome to temples found across the empire, although the design depended somewhat on the people present at its construction time.
