As part
of a full meeting of the European Virtual School, the History Department
met at the Rolduc conference centre in the Netherlands 13-16 June. The
meeting proved to be an excellent opportunity to meet with members of the
other VS planning teams and other international ICT and educational
networks including BECTa
(UK) and UNESCO Associated
Schools Project Network.
The next phase of the Spanish Civil War
project was the focus for much of the departmental meeting time. But in
addition, the Medieval Pilgrimage project was prepared for launch and a
new project on the Young People and WWII was planned.
