This year's Versailles Treaty project begins on Monday 5th
December and will be completed by Friday 16th December. The
students will be divided into six teams
representing six countries at the conference. This year there will
also be a media team covering the event and taking responsibility
for live web reporting of the
conference motions and the production of the digital audio-visual
record of the day. (see the audio
visual record of 2000, 2001, 2002,
2003 and 2004).
After they have been registered at the
International Student Education Forum, the national teams will begin by researching (these
useful links will help) and
writing their national
objectives and then uploading them to the forum by
Wednesday 7th December. This year, the conference debate
will take place during the whole day of Thursday
8th December.
As well as preparing their historical arguments, students
will also need to familiarise themselves with the rules
of debate. They will be
writing up their completed treaty for publication on Friday 16th
December. The best treaty will be selected for publication as
the IST Versailles Treaty for 2005.
The winning team will be selected by
the Media team. But the popular vote will be registered here on
the Student
Education Forum.
