I was in Wales with some of my mum's friends along with my mum and dad when we had a Millennium party.

I remember watching the Millennium celebration on TV, with all the fireworks, and the countdown in the corner of the screen.

There was this bit about the Millennium Bug, but I was too young to understand (tut tut).

Surprisingly, I don't remember much about the Millennium parties and all that, except for just standing hypnotized in front of a TV screen watching this Millennium Bug thing being projected on a wall somewhere in London or wherever, then this huge Millennium Butterfly thing appears and says something like, 'Thank you for freeing me from the Millennium Bug...I was trapped...' and so forth in a sickening, simpering voice.

Little though I was, I recognize badly done things when I see them.
