Attack on the Bastille

Lots and lots of people all gathered around to prepare for the war on the Bastille they all gathered weapons for two days ready to go and attack. I hated the prison, and I also hated the king. I hated the king because he was going crush Paris with foreign soldiers, that was only if I stayed I had to go otherwise Paris would be in trouble. All of the weapons we found were guns and cannons and we found a little gunpowder.

One day we were ready to attack we demanded surrender of Bastille. We were all waiting until the battle began. The governor pointed cannons at us we were still waiting, and then we decided to charge we all ran they were firing at us cannons bullets lots of things. E broke through into Bastille and charged we were killing them. We had victory we captured them and let free the prisoners they were all happy.

Lots of people died in the Bastille trying to capture governor but that is what they had to do because they wanted to do it for there self and to help all of the poor people in prison from things they didn’t even do so they did the right thing in the end because if they didn’t free all of the poor people in jail they would regret that thought for the rest of there life’s and all of the poor people in jail would be wondering where they are because they would of thought the people would rescue them and set them free. It was good that they did, the poor people were very pleased with all of the people which took and letting them free.

Tuileries

The Tuileries was attacked on the 10th of August 1792. 20,000 armed men and women marched to the Tuileries to de-throne the king Louis XVI. The people were helped by the National Guards to brake into the palace. The Swiss Guards were the one that were defending the king, tried to go against the people but they weren’t enough. The peoples had knifes, pikes and axes, the slaughtered in total about 6OO Swiss Guards and mutilated the bodies. The people also ransacked the palace.
