Brussels 2002

The Brussels meeting was an opportunity to work with members of the Civics, Physical Education and Media Departments. Much of the meeting time was dedicated to discussing a future cross-curricular project on the Olympic Games. There was some time for History Department business: the Medieval Pilgrimage project was prepared for launch for January 2003 and the new project on the Young People and WWII was further developed. The undoubted highlight of the weekend was a special interview of Julio Ponce, conducted in English and Spanish by Juan-Carlos Ocana of the Civics Department about Julio's recent research on Gibraltar and The Spanish Civil War.
