Tienen op de grens van Haspengouw en Hageland. Het dorp is vermaard
omwille van zijn internationaal bekende paardenprocessie op paasmaandag.
Jaarlijks komen voor die gelegenheid duizenden bedevaarders (vooral
Nederlanders) naar Hakendover. Die bedevaart steunt op een middeleeuwse
legende volgens dewelke God zelf zou hebben meegebouwd aan de parochiekerk.
