Quarry Bank Mill was so Successful because of Technological Change.

One reason it was so successful was to do with technology. New machines were invented to make the work that was done faster and more efficient. If there had been no technology then there would have been no industrial revolution, because the revolution is based on the improvement of things. It was very important that the technology advanced so that they could level the amount of power that was being produced by using steam. Some of the machines that were invented were, ‘The flying shuttle’, ‘The spinning Jenny’, ‘The water frame’, ‘The mule’ and ‘The power loom’.

 

This is the water gate that was used to power the mill before the steam engine. It shows how good the technology was.
