Persecution of the Sinti and Roma:

1926:

If the gypses of Germany did not already hold a normal job they were ordered by the police to work in a work house for 2 years.

1939:

By 1939 Sintis and Romas were restricted to certain areas in Germany. If they disobeyed the rules and left a restricted area they were cruelley punished.

1941:

In one year only, around 250 000 Siniti and Romas were shot in places such as Russia, Poland and the Balkans.

1942:

During December of this year 23 000 gypsies were sent to Auschwitz around a shocking 87% of these gypsies where killed.
