Next time you're outside, take a look up at the school
roof and see if you can spot the Humanities Department's new
solar powered, digital weather station. If you are really
lucky you might see Mr Flynn emptying the station's rain gauge.
The weather station sends continuously updated data of the
current weather situation to a dedicated computer in the
Humanities room. This information can then be displayed live
on the Humanities website, allowing people from all over the
world to know what the weather is like at the IST.
