The Versailles Project |

| There are not many traditions at the
International School of Toulouse but when the online Versailles
project entered its seventh year in December 2006, this successful
role-play activity has become one of the Humanities
Department's most important annual events. The Versailles
Experience allows students to re-enact one of the most
significant events of the 20th century, the Treaty of Versailles.
It gives students the opportunity
to engage in the process of decision making, and therefore
understand how it is that the motives of nations and individuals
can help to mould the fate of millions of people. |
